Honor Roll Profile

Hon. Peter W. Rodino, Jr.

Liberty Fund D.C. wants every America to participate in each stage of the project, from winning the right to construct the National Liberty Memorial to dedication. Please volunteer your skills and resources.

U.S. Congress: Communicate with members of your state's congressional delegation. Urge them to support Liberty Fund D.C.

Contributions: Liberty Fund D.C. is not soliciting donations at this time. However, that will change once legislation is approved to authorize us to build the memorial. Therefore, we encourage Americans, who would like to make future donations, to send us your names and contact information. You will be notified as soon as the legislation is introduced and your contribution can begin making the memorial a reality.

Donated Services: If you are a company that offers a service or a product that could help, please let us know.

Advice: Suggest how to spread the memorial's message in your community. Tell us about your way of explaining the history and what the memorial will mean to you and your children.

Tell your community: Contact your local newspapers and media outlets about Liberty Fund D.C. Send us the names and contact information for journalists and reporters you think would be interested.

History: If you have any information about the black patriots, please share it with us. If you are a local historian, let us know about your research or plans to uncover your community's Revolutionary war history as it relates to African American patriots.

Tell us about your local landmarks where they may have lived or are buried. Take digital pictures and send them to us for publication at this site.

Descendants: We are eager to hear from descendants of the black patriots.

We would like to send your information to one of the hereditary organization, such as the Daughters of the American Revolution or Sons of the American Revolution, so they can help you prove your ancestry and honor your heritage.

Design: If you have ideas or observations for our architects or sculptor, or would like an explanation of the design, please let us know.
